About our College
Genesis Christian College, situated in Queensland at 12—16 Youngs Crossing Road, Bray Park, is an independent, co-educational school catering for students from Prep to Year 12. The total enrolment in 2011 was 1 172 students.  The expected enrolment for 2012 is 1 290.

The characteristics of the student body in 2011 was 540 males and 632 females including 9 indigenous students.  Students with disabilities numbered 18.

The Primary School includes Preparatory to Year 6 classes and the Secondary School consists of a Middle School (Years 7 to 9) and a Senior School (Years 10 to 12).

In 2012, there will be four streams in Prep to Year 8. It is projected that the College will be a four stream Prep to Year 12 school by 2016.

A 75 place Early Learning Centre, Little Genesis, caters for 150 children from six weeks upwards attending either long or sessional day care. Two Kindergarten classes also operate from the centre.

Out of School Hours Care, OSHC, is provided as a service to working parents and their children.

The College motto is “Your Word is my Light” and its mission is “to provide high quality education that develops a passion for lifelong learning, Christian character and a desire to serve God in the wider community”.

The College distinguishes itself through its point of difference, defined in the words: “an ethical, thinking, learning community”.

The College Mission Statement is underpinned by seven core values: Christ-likeness; Excellence; Integrity; Perseverance and Resilience (determination); Sense of Service; and Respect (for God, self, others and property).
