A walk through our classrooms reveals actively engaged students involved in rigorous learning activities which have been created and planned by very capable teachers.
All teachers are supported through regular professional learning, often using external facilitators who are experts in their fields, as well as by internal staff knowledge and expertise. These sessions occur on student free/staff professional learning days and weekly during staff meetings.
External professional learning accessed by teachers is usually subject specific or selected to meet individual needs.
Policies and procedures that ensure equity and professional conduct are regularly revised and presented to staff for collegial discussion and input.
