Applications for Prep 2018 close 31 March 2017
Thank you for considering enrolment at Genesis Christian College. Choosing a school is one of the most significant decisions we make as parents. It requires considerations not only financially but most importantly, considering the "best fit" for your child, and the "best match" between a school's ethos, and your family's faith and values.
At Genesis Christian College our mission is to provide high quality education that develops a passion for lifelong learning, Christian character and a desire to serve God in the wider community. A comprehensive overview of the College is available throughout the College website.
All forms required to make an Application for Enrolment are available on the Enrolments Process page.
Please read the Application Process Guide & Enrolment Policy to understand the enrolment process followed by the College and a guide to making an Application for Enrolment.
Bookings for personal campus tours of the College are welcome and are generally conducted during term in school hours. It is recommended students attend a tour at some stage, either initially with parents or on another occasion once and an Application has been made.
Our Open Morning is scheduled annually in May and advertised on the College website. Open Morning tours are conducted by our Senior students providing families the opportunity to speak with students who attend the College sharing their own educational journey at Genesis. A morning tea with the Principal, Heads of school, Curriculum and Enrolment staff is provided following the Open Morning tour.
Please do not hesitate to contact me on 3882 9000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org should you have a specific or further enquiry.
I look forward to being of service to you as you prepare to choose a school for your family.
Mrs Lynn Swanson

In 2015 The Independent Schools Queensland released a new report entitled "What Parents Want - An Independent School Queensland Survey". ISQ conducted a survey to identify the decision-making process parents went through when choosing to send their children to an independent school and the factors which influenced their decision. The document and a summary of the key findings and insights from the survey can be viewed at www.aisq.qld.edu.au under News and Media - Publications - Surveys.
