Phew, what a busy first semester for our Interact Club!

At the beginning of the year, we started the Club for Years 9-12 students and we’re excited to report that our club members have remained committed throughout this period.

Our fundraising efforts have gone well and we have raised monies by running a sausage sizzle at the recent Careers Expo and also running the Canteen at last week’s Music Through the Years evening.  We also co-ordinated the Animal Welfare Winter Drive, which resulted in an entire ute, trailer and car boot full of blankets, sheets, towels and food for the Bracken Ridge Animal Welfare League.

Our involvement at marshalling the 2km run for the younger athletes at the Pine Rivers Charity Run proved to be a fun day of cheering and encouraging.

We have given up early mornings and late evenings but we know that it is in giving that we receive.

As the Interact motto says – Service Above Self.

If you’re interested in joining the Interact Club, please contact Mrs Cross in the Careers & Support Services Office.
