Dear Parents,
As the year draws to a close, I would like to acknowledge the work of staff and parents and the gains that this year has brought.  We continue to be astounded at the physical support that we receive through our Parents and Friends Association and our many volunteers at fundraising days, major events, classroom activities, Support a Reader, excursions and camps. To the exceptionally committed primary staff , thanks for enhancing the good reputation of the College by caring, nurturing and guiding our little people through the 2018 schooling year. Your efforts have been appreciated by all.

Recently, we celebrated the efforts of many of our volunteers with an afternoon tea and we thank those who attended. There are, of course, many more who were unable to attend, so we also pass on our thanks to them.

It is with a tinge of sadness that I write this, my last article as Head of School – Primary. I wish to again extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff of the Primary School and to the College Board for giving me the opportunity back in 2008 to oversee significant growth in the Primary School and in the College generally. My 11 years at Genesis is a period of time I will look back on with much fondness.

With thanks,
David Wylie
Head of School – Primary
