Congratulations to Yr 11 Engineering student, Cooper D, who was successful in his application to work alongside QUT researchers at the QUT STEM Camp from 30 September to 4 October. Cooper has chosen from over 380 applicants.

Cooper is considering researching and engaging in one of two subject areas:

  • Mars 2020 Rover Mission (STEM disciplines: Geobiology, Physics, Astrophysics, Mathematics, Aerospace); or
  • Helping Hearts Live Healthier (STEM disciplines: Exercise Science, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics)

Cooper joins the list of other successful Genesis Christian College Engineering students collaborating with QUT:

  • Madelyn G (Yr 12)

QUT STEM Convener, Patricia Hosking, states, “These students are the next generation of STEM leaders. They are the people who will be shaping our world as researchers, entrepreneurs and inventors, and this week will give them the chance the fuel their thirst for knowledge and really explore the incredible options on offer in STEM.”
