Relief Teaching
Genesis Christian College welcomes expressions of interest for Relief Teaching across our College at any time during the year. PA to the Principal

Full Time, Term Time

We are seeking an experienced individual with established Personal Assistant experience and highly developed inter-personal skills to coordinate the efficient workflow, diary and events of the Principal.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and diplomacy, along with the ability to carry out all duties with initiative, accuracy and integrity whilst observing the protocols and traditions of a vibrant growing school. The PA to the Principal will need to be welcoming, alert and proactive in liaising with staff and parents and the wider community.

Experience working within an Educational setting is desirable.

Teacher Assistants - Home Economics & Performing Arts Departments

Part Time, Term Time

We are seeking two Part Time (Term Time) Teacher Assistants in our Home Economics and Performing Arts departments commencing in 2018.

To be successful in these positions, you will need:

  • a Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent experience;
  • demonstrated competent level of computing and administrative skills including Microsoft Office suite;
  • understanding of risk management principles;
  • have a Current First Aid certificate;
  • hold a valid ’Blue Card’ issued by the Public Safety Business Agency (PSBA); and
  • previous experience working in an Educational setting is advantageous.

Head Tennis Coach

12 month contract, Full Time Position

Genesis Sports and Aquatic Centre has operated out of Genesis Christian College’s sporting facility for just over 5 years. The College Sports precinct boasts an Aquatic Centre, Fitness Centre, operational allied health clinic and 3 multi-purpose indoor Sports Courts and 2 multi-purpose outdoor sports courts. This is a terrific opportunity for a Head Coach to develop a Tennis business into a premier Tennis program within Brisbane.

The successful person will:

  • be a Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach, or equivalent;
  • hold Tennis Australia Coach Membership and hold adequate insurance;
  • have current First Aid certificate and CPR certificate;
  • have a current Working with Children check;
  • have previous experience coaching children/adults in a Tennis environment;
  • have the ability to work well in a team as well as independently;
  • have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • have demonstrated time management and organisational skills; and
  • be reliable and trustworthy.
