The Secondary School curriculum, underpinned by a Christian World view, draws its content from the Australian National Curriculum and Queensland Syllabuses. Infused with 21st century technologies and beyond, the curriculum is current and cognisant of meeting the needs of students at different stages of secondary education and preparing them to compete and interact in a constantly changing and evolving world.

Planning focuses on catering for all aspects of learning through Marzano’s, “Dimensions of Learning” pedagogical framework. Latest research and knowledge about the art of teaching and engaging adolescent students reinforces the need for differences in the way we view teaching and learning in Middle School students (Years 7 to 9) and Senior School students (Years 10 to 12) and has a major influence on our approach.

Teaching and learning focuses on developing students who are thinkers, problem solvers and lifelong learners. The emphasis is on creating highly engaging and carefully crafted curriculum that is relevant to a student's world. An interesting array of subjects, including a comprehensive elective program with scope for extension, supports the extensive range of learning experiences available to our students. Subjects offered range from the strongly theoretical to the highly practical, and from the academic-based OP (Overall Position) to the vocational. The scope is inclusive and has been deliberatively chosen to cater for a large range of interests and aptitudes. 

Exciting co-curricular offerings include: camps, musicals, orchestras, bands, ensembles, choirs, debating, drama, sporting competitions, external academic opportunities, leadership training and work experience.
