Students in the new B Block at Genesis
No two students are the same and we recognise every student’s God-given talents.

Two Learning Support areas, one in the Primary School and the other in the Secondary School, service the needs of students requiring intervention and support.

Intervention support may take place in the classroom, or as withdrawal of small homogenous groups, or individually. Apart from academic support, identified Secondary students are also assisted in the form of special provisions for timed assessment tasks and the development of organisational skills.

Students who receive support are selected on a priority needs basis through varied identification processes including:

  • standardised and general ability tests;
  • class records and work samples; and
  • teacher and parent observation checklists and professional reports.
